Thorey is currently working on the one women show Iphigenia in Splott and the musical Little Shop of Horrors. After graduating from drama school Thorey went to work at the NATIONAL THEATRE IN ICELAND. Her stage credits include Celia in AS YOU LIKE IT, Pila in THE DREAMTHIEF, Hermia in MIDSUMMERS NIGHTS DREAM, Lára in LÁRA and LJÓNSI, Natasja in MASTER AND MARGARITA and more. Shows in the independence scene include KARIUS AND BAKTUS, SWIM and more. Her latest tv roles are in the Icelandic television mini-series SKVÍZ on Sjónvarp Símans. She also appeared in ÁRAMÓTASKAUPIÐ 2023 which is the most popular comedy show in Iceland. Her other credits include the award winning short films such as THICK SKIN, SORROW EATS HEART, and DOVETAIL.

In 2023 Thorey was nominated for ‘Best Actress in a Supporting Role’ at the Icelandic Theatrical Awards (Gríman). Before her acting studies she worked as a freelance dancer performing both on screen and on stage. She was part of the esamble in MARY POPPINS, THE WIZARD OF OZ and in LAZY TOWN in THE REYKJAVIK CITY THEATRE and at the NATIONAL THEATRE IN ICELAND. Having a strong backround in dance and gymnasticks she also drives a motorcycle.
